THE POEM
I knelt to pray but not for long,
I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work
For bills would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,
And jumped up off my knees.
My Christian duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease.....
All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer
No time to speak of Christ to friends,
They'd laugh at me I'd fear.
No time, no time, too much to do,
That was my constant cry,
No time to give to souls in need
But at last the time, the time to die.
I went before the Lord,
I came, I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands God! held a book;
It was the book of life.
God looked into his book and said
"Your name I cannot find
I once was going to write it down...
But never found the time"

Launching of Divine SMS project PDF Print E-mail

p1010459 Divine Call Centre - Mulki, ventured into yet another innovative way to reach out to the faithful in spreading the Good news by providing Bible Quotes through SMS on their cell phones DAILY. This was launched at Divine Call Centre, Mulki after the Holy Eucharistic Celebration by Rev. Fr. Anto Kannampuzha of Potta Team. He inaugurated the “DIVINE SMS” project by sending the first SMS to His Grace Arch Bishop Leo Cornelio SVD, the Chairman, Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India (CBCI) - Commission for Youth who is also the Co-Chairman of CBCI Commission for Social Communications.

p1010461Speaking on this occassion, Rev. Fr. Cyprian Lewis SVD, Director of Divine Call Centre - Mulki announced that the Centre will send 'Bible Quotes' daily to everyone who will send in their mobile numbers & register themselves. He further appealed everyone to make use of this opportunity and to be blessed with the Word of God daily. He announced that people can  register by sending a SMS along with their name and parish to any of these numbers (+91 8088994312 / 8088994313 / 8088994314 / 8088994315 ) or can register their numbers at the office counter.
