THE POEM |
I knelt to pray but not for long,
I had too much to do.
I had to hurry and get to work
For bills would soon be due.
So I knelt and said a hurried prayer,
And jumped up off my knees.
My Christian duty was now done
My soul could rest at ease.....
All day long I had no time
To spread a word of cheer
No time to speak of Christ to friends,
They'd laugh at me I'd fear.
No time, no time, too much to do,
That was my constant cry,
No time to give to souls in need
But at last the time, the time to die.
I went before the Lord,
I came, I stood with downcast eyes.
For in his hands God! held a book;
It was the book of life.
God looked into his book and said
"Your name I cannot find
I once was going to write it down...
But never found the time"

 KANNADA RENEWAL RETREAT began on 8th Nov, 2009 at Divine Call Centre - Mulki.
Rev Fr. Cyprian, the Director of Divine Call Centre inaugurated the Retreat and
welcomed the Team and the faithful.
YESU SPARSHA, a team under the
dynamic leadership of Rev. Fr Franklin conducted this special retreat which was held upto 12th Nov.
Rev. Fr. Franklin D'Souza, Rev. Fr. Roman Pinto, Bro. T. K. George, Bro. T.V.
Davis were the prominent preachers along with Bro. William who played the music
About 352 faithful participated in the retreat.  
  The
Director of DCC announced about the forthcoming GROWTH RETREAT in Konkani - "
FAITH CENTERED ON HOLY EUCHARIST" which will start on Nov 15th 2009, 6.00 p.m.and
conclude on Nov 20th 2009 at 8.30 a.m. There will also be a Konkani SPECIAL
Retreat in the 5th week of Nov in the Centre. This retreat is meant only for
"ALCOHOLICS & OTHER ADDICTS" which will be conducted by a Special Team -
ASHA KIRAN CENTRE from Bhadravathi. The Director has requested the
faithful to make use of this opportunity by bringing those who need this help to
overcome their sickness. The family members of the participant are requested to
accompany them which will help quicken the recovery of the victim.
